Rashid Ali Bynum, 28, who was reportedly acquainted with Dwumfour through their church, was taken into custody on Tuesday morning. The charges against Bynum include first-degree murder, as announced by Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone during a news conference.
The tragic incident occurred on February 1, when Dwumfour, a 30-year-old mother and prominent church leader, was fatally shot multiple times while seated in her SUV outside her townhouse.
