Mr. Bennet Adomah Agyekum, the brother of the late Kikibees and Noire Lounge CEO, has expressed strong suspicions that his sibling might have been drugged and poisoned. He believes that an unknown woman may have tainted his brother’s drink with harmful substances, ultimately leading to his untimely demise.
According to Mr. Agyekum, he had conversed with the late Kikibees CEO just a few hours before the tragic incident, and his brother had been in good spirits. He voiced his conviction, stating, “I strongly believe that my brother was drugged and poisoned. The lady must have put some drugs or poison in water for him to drink. How can you say he abused drugs or committed suicide? I spoke to my brother around 1 am and 2 am, Ghanaian time, and he responded normally.”
Mr. Agyekum also pointed to a viral audio recording, which captured events at the suspect’s residence, as evidence supporting his belief that she had orchestrated his brother’s demise. He stated, “If you listen to the audio, you’d realize that my brother never thought the lady could harm him. The girl plotted to kill my brother and she did. The girl isn’t stable with her statements. The family has been deeply troubled by this situation, and the negative portrayal of his brother in the public eye only exacerbates the pain. So, they are trying to say he was so agitated that he removed his watch, cut his wrist, and then put it back?”
Family rejects Police’ findings
Cecilia Adomah, the mother of the late Kikibees CEO, firmly rejected any suggestions that her son might have taken his own life or succumbed to the influence of drugs. She passionately insisted that her son is nothing like the negative portrayal that has been presented, particularly by the authorities.
During an interview with Bigscout media, which was monitored by GhanaWeb, Mrs. Cecilia Adomah emphasized that her son was a successful, responsible young businessman. In her view, he had no conceivable reason to contemplate suicide or put his life in danger.
Osebo, who is Ben’s brother-in-law, echoed the same sentiments, reinforcing the narrative that the late CEO was not the person portrayed in the police reports and media.
