The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is launching ‘Operation Fix the Bill & Pay the Bill’ from November 6th to December 11th, 2023, in its operational areas. This initiative aims to record accurate consumption readings for postpaid customers, ensuring precise billing, meter reading verification, and the collection of outstanding payments. ECG will operate with reduced staff during this period to involve top management and staff in the exercise. ECG emphasizes that they have full access to their installations as granted by the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission’s LI (2413), and they urge customers and the public to cooperate in fulfilling their mandate.
