“Gay Ghanaian seeks in-person dialogue with Sam George to discuss their differences”

Queue, a man who identifies as a homosexual, recently spoke with Etsey Atisu on GhanaWeb TV’s SayItLoud, where he opened up about the challenges he faces as a member of the LGBTQ+ community in Ghana. Throughout the interview, Queue shared his daily struggles and the discrimination he experiences regularly.

Queue expressed his disappointment and frustration towards the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam Nartey Georg, and other MPs who are pushing to make LGBTQ+ practices illegal in Ghana. He believes that such laws will only further marginalize and oppress the LGBTQ+ community, causing more harm than good.

In an effort to engage in dialogue and potentially change minds, Queue expressed his desire to meet with Sam Nartey Georg and discuss the issue face-to-face. He also urged society to accept and support members of the LGBTQ+ community, rather than perpetuating discrimination and hate.
