In a recent announcement, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has provided information regarding the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for the year 2024. Addressed to all Regional Directors of Education, the communication outlines the specific dates set for the examination.
Scheduled to take place from July 8th to July 12th, 2024, the BECE for School Candidates (SC) marks an important milestone in the academic journey of students across the country. This announcement comes as a directive from the Management of the Ghana Education Service, emphasizing the significance of timely preparation and adherence to the examination schedule.
Prince C. Agyemang-Duah, Acting Director of the Schools and Instructions Division, conveyed the message on behalf of the Director-General of GES. The directive extends to all Heads of Basic and Senior High Schools, urging them to ensure that candidates are adequately prepared for the upcoming examination.
Furthermore, the Regional Directors of Education are tasked with disseminating this information to Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education for wider circulation among schools. This coordinated effort aims to streamline the preparation process and ensure that all stakeholders are well-informed about the BECE schedule.
As the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is expected to communicate the registration period for candidates in due course, schools are advised to stay vigilant for further updates.
With the BECE dates officially set, students, teachers, and educational administrators can now focus their efforts on effective preparation and support for candidates undertaking this significant examination.
Stay tuned for more updates and information regarding the 2024 BECE as the Ghana Education Service continues to facilitate the educational journey of students across the nation.
