Ghana’s President Akufo-Addo Arrives in Nigeria for Tinubu’s Inauguration
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reportedly arrived in the Nigerian capital for the inauguration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the 16th President of Nigeria. The Ghanaian president landed in Nigeria on Sunday, May 28, 2023, aboard the French-built Dassault Falcon 900EX-Easy Presidential Jet, as captured in a video shared on social media from TVC News.
The inauguration is scheduled to take place on Monday, May 29, 2023, following Tinubu’s election as president in Nigeria’s general election held on February 25, 2023. Tinubu, a 71-year-old former Governor of Lagos State, will succeed Muhammadu Buhari, who served as Nigeria’s president for two terms.
President Akufo-Addo will join other heads of state and foreign diplomats in attending the ceremony, which is expected to be held on Monday.
