“Guide on Connecting WhatsApp on Multiple Devices Including Android and iOS”

WhatsApp now allows you to use up to four linked devices simultaneously, without requiring your primary phone to remain connected at all times. However, to maintain the connection between your linked devices and your WhatsApp account, you will need to log in to your primary phone once every 14 days

Link a device

Open WhatsApp Web or Desktop on the device you want to link. You’ll see a QR code to be scanned by your primary phone.

Android

  1. Open WhatsApp on your primary phone
  2. Tap More options > Linked devices > Link a device.
  3. Unlock your primary phone:
  4. If your device has biometric authentication, follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. If you don’t have biometric authentication enabled, you’ll be prompted to enter the pin you use to unlock your phone.
  6. Point your primary phone at the screen of the device you want to link to scan the QR code.

iPhone

  1. Open WhatsApp on your phone. Go to WhatsApp Settings > Linked Devices.
  2. Tap Link a Device.
  3. Unlock your iPhone if you’re on iOS 14 or older:
  4. Use Touch ID or Face ID to unlock.
  5. If you don’t have biometric authentication enabled, you’ll be prompted to enter the pin you use to unlock your phone.
  6. Point your iPhone at the screen of the device you want to link to scan the QR code.

Note: For the best experience, update to the latest version of WhatsApp
