The management of Ghana Education Service (GES) through a communique has directed all Directors in the service to hold on with all internal transfers.
“The management of Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform all Regional Directors to communicate to all Metropolitan/ Municipal/ District Directors of Education as a matter of urgency, to hold on with all Internal Transfers with immediate effect”, the statement said.honestynewsgh.com/, since school resumed this 2023 academic year has received numerous messages from GES facilitators concerning some felonious internal transfers by some District Directors.
According to some affected facilitators who spoke to Honestynewsgh, some District Directors and HR’s had taken monies from some facilitators (unqualified teachers) and had sent them to their place of choice.
“Some Directors have denied some of us (qualified applicants) who are due for transfers and had considered those who do not qualify instead, all in the name of protocol”, a facilitator alleged.
GES upon thorough investigation on the issues has directed all Directors to halt all internal transfers with an immediate effect.
“You would be communicated to when modalities concerning GES internal transfers are reviewed”, the statement added
