Koku Criticizes Prof. Kpessa-Whyte for Insulting Supreme Court to Please Influential Figure

Samuel Koku Anyidoho, the former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has criticized Prof. Michael Kpessa-Whyte for his inappropriate tweet and subsequent apology to the Supreme Court of Ghana. Anyidoho accused Kpessa-Whyte of making the remarks in order to please a certain influential figure who is currently abroad enjoying himself.

In a tweet responding to Kpessa-Whyte, Anyidoho, who previously served as the Director of Communications at the Presidency during the late Prof. Mills’ administration, stated that Kpessa-Whyte had foolishly insulted the esteemed Supreme Court of Ghana just to gain favor with his overseas cult hero. Anyidoho questioned the need for Kpessa-Whyte to entangle himself in such a messy situation, now finding himself in hot water and attempting to seek forgiveness through an apology letter, which Anyidoho considered an attempt to sneakily obtain forgiveness.
