A tragic incident has occurred in Dunkwa-Mfuom, Upper Denkyira East Municipality, where a 27-year-old man named Dominic allegedly murdered his 23-year-old girlfriend, Victoria Tetteh. The community has been left in shock and sorrow.
According to reports, the couple had been together for a year but had been experiencing misunderstandings. On the day of the incident, the suspect reportedly attempted to kill the victim in the afternoon, but she managed to control him until midnight. However, sensing danger, the victim contacted her elder sister for help.
The suspect later went to the sister’s house to search for his girlfriend, but she was not there. The sister calmed him down and went to seek assistance from her landlord. When she returned, she found the victim’s lifeless body lying in a pool of blood in front of the house, with the suspect nowhere to be seen.
An eyewitness claimed that the suspect had drugged or poisoned the victim before killing her, as no one in the area heard any noise or commotion. The suspect had allegedly invested heavily in the victim and had sponsored her during their relationship. However, he had left his illegal mining site for several months and became upset upon learning that the victim had been unfaithful.
