“Man of God Makes Violent Threat Against Potential Political Outcome in 2024 Elections

Apostle Kwabena Owusu Adjei, the head pastor of Hezekiah Apostolic Prayer Ministry in Ghana, has stated that his life should be taken if John Mahama wins the 2024 presidential elections. The pastor claims that Mahama has been spiritually banned from becoming president again and has no chance of winning. He added that the Lord has rejected Mahama, and any party that elects an Ashanti and a Voltarian as a running mate will win the 2024 elections.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ghana will hold its presidential and parliamentary primaries on May 13, 2023, to elect a flagbearer and parliamentary candidates for the 2024 elections. Former President John Dramani Mahama picked the first slot on the ballot, followed by Kojo Bonsu, former Metropolitan Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, and former Finance Minister Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, who picked the second and third slots, respectively. The balloting was done after the successful vetting of the three candidates by the NDC Vetting Committee’s Chairman, Edward Doe Adjaho
