“Man seeks compensation after spending GH¢120,000 to marry pregnant police woman who had an affair with customs officer”

A Ghanaian man named Tony is calling for justice after discovering that he is not the father of his wife’s child, despite spending GH¢120,000 to marry her when she was pregnant. Tony explained that his wife, Belinda Asantewaa, informed him of her pregnancy a day prior to their marriage, and he accepted it and went ahead with the marriage. After taking full responsibility for the child and naming him, Tony later found out that another man had also named the child and claimed to be the father.

Tony confronted Belinda’s family, and they revealed that the other man who named the child was a renowned customs officer, and they did not want the issue to go public. They asked Tony to list the expenses he incurred during the marriage and naming so they could refund him. Tony did as requested, but the family has refused to pay him back, stating that their daughter cannot afford it.

Tony is demanding that Belinda’s family repay him the GH¢120,000 he spent on her. He claims that the lady has been threatening him ever since the issue came up
