NAGRAT Calls on Government to Enhance Teachers’ Conditions of Service.

NAGRAT is urging the government to promptly resume negotiations with all teacher unions to address outstanding issues regarding their conditions of service raised last year. Stressing the need for swift resolution to prevent potential strike actions, NAGRAT emphasized the importance of concluding negotiations quickly. Awoonor Yevu Godwin, the Eastern Regional Chairman of NAGRAT, clarified during a media session at Adonten Senior High School that their request is not tied to an election year, urging the government to demonstrate commitment to teachers’ welfare. He called for negotiations with all teacher union leaders for a speedy proposal and clarity on the government’s stance.
