Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel International, revealed that he once declined a tempting request to spiritually harm Ghana’s current Chief of Staff, Frema Akosua Osei-Opare. This request came from a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party who believed he was promised the Chief of Staff position by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo but was passed over.
The individual who approached Prophet Nigel offered a white Range Rover and an amount of GH¢1.6 million (equivalent to 1.6 billion in old Ghanaian currency) as inducement. The person even came with a bodyguard who was a soldier. According to Nigel, this man, who has since passed away, asked for one of three things, including a prayer to paralyze the Chief of Staff.
However, as a man of God, Prophet Nigel chose not to fulfill this request. He emphasized his role as someone with the power to bless or destroy but decided to encourage the individual instead. Frema Akosua Osei-Opare, who served as a Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon from 2005 to 2009, became Ghana’s first female Chief of Staff when appointed by President Akufo-Addo in 2017, a position she retained when he won a second term in 2020.
