An aspiring NPP parliamentary candidate for Afigya Kwabre South Constituency, Mr George Sarpong, has donated hundred (100) bags of Cement and fifteen (15) motorbikes to the party.
In a short event held at the party office in Kodie, Mr George Sarpong acknowledged the need to render such support to the party especially going into the 2024 general election.
Speaking, he noted that the 100 bags of cement donated “was to support the reconstruction of the NPP office at Kodie”. He also mentioned that the motorbikes are “to support the party as part of efforts to break the eight (8)”.
Engaging the media after the exercise, Mr George Sarpong also highlighted several of such support he has given to the party, party delegates and constituents at large. Such support include the organization of a health screening exercise and free NHIS registration for the constituents, support for the party during the 2023 EC limited voter registration exercise, financial support for the constituency’s youth wing as youth wing patron, support for assembly member aspirants both in kind and cash, support for the NASARA wing during Ramadan both in kind and cash, etc.
The event was graced by Rev. Amoasi Takyi, chairman of the constituency, Mr Nsiah Acheampong, Chairman of electoral area coordinators, some constituency executives, electoral area coordinators, Delegates and party faithfuls. Rev Amoasi Takyi thanked Mr George Sarpong for his kind gesture and wished him well in the upcoming primaries.
