Eric Kwadwo Baidoo, NPP Aspiring Candidate, Backs Kennedy Agyapong’s Presidential Bid

Eric Kwadwo Baidoo, an aspiring parliamentary candidate for the Assin Central Constituency, has pledged his support and donated GHC50,000.00 to Mr. Kennedy Agyapong’s presidential bid in the upcoming 2024 general elections. Baidoo believes that Agyapong, a valuable asset to the people of Assinman, has the potential to break the eight-year cycle and lead the party to victory. Expressing his hope that Agyapong’s campaign message resonates with Ghanaians and delegates, Baidoo aims to propel him to success. In response, Agyapong expressed his gratitude for the generous gesture.

Meanwhile, six other flagbearer hopefuls have picked up their nomination forms to contend for the position. These include Boakye Agyarko, Kofi Konadu Apraku, Owusu Afriyie, Francis Addai-Nimo, Kwabena Adjei Agyapong, and Mahamadu Bawumia. Agyapong’s decision to run for the flagbearership will create a vacancy in the Assin Central constituency, leading to four candidates emerging to compete for the Member of Parliament position: Eric Kwadwo Baidoo, Joseph Adjei-Banin, Godfred Nti Anewu, and Obed Kumi Awuah.
