The National Service Scheme (NSS) has officially released the PIN Codes for the 2023/2024 national service year. In a statement issued on August 1, 2023, the NSS Secretariat confirmed that 142,381 final year students from 125 accredited tertiary institutions across the country, who have registered for the mandatory national service, have received their PIN Codes.
The statement emphasized that defaulters who applied for enrollment this year are not included in this batch of PIN Codes. All eligible final year Ghanaian students are encouraged to visit the NSS website (https://www.nss.gov.gh) to access their PIN Codes using their respective school index numbers and date of birth.
To activate the enrollment process, students must make a payment of GH¢40.00 at any branch of ADB Bank Ltd or use the MTN MoMo platform to pay GH¢41,00. The registration deadline is set for Saturday, August 19, 2023.
The NSS urged accredited tertiary institutions that are yet to submit their supplementary final year lists to do so promptly to facilitate the enrollment process for the 2023/2024 national service. Additionally, all eligible final year Ghanaian students are advised to personally complete the enrollment process to avoid potential errors that could impact their deployment processing.
By ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process, the NSS aims to facilitate the national service deployment and contribute to the growth and development of the country.
