Police Arrest Self-Confessed Robber ‘Demon Town’ and Accomplice Following Viral Video Boast

Police have arrested two suspected robbers, known as ‘Demon Town’ and his accomplice from Aputuogya in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region. The duo gained notoriety after a viral video showed them threatening to stab anyone resisting their attempts to snatch items. Acting on a tip-off, the Kuntenase District Police Patrol team raided a house in Aputuogya, where the suspects were believed to be hiding. Ibrahim Mohammed, 23, one of the suspects seen in the video, was handed over to the police by the local community after raiding the house. During interrogation, Ibrahim claimed he’s from Adansi Fomena Kusa but currently lives in Madina, Accra. He stated that he was invited to the Bosomtwe District by his accomplice, Kwame Sarpong, a distant family member, about a month ago. The unemployed accomplice, who was on the run, has also been apprehended by the police. The owner of the house where the suspects were found will undergo interrogation, and Ibrahim Mohammed is expected to face charges in court.
