President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has lauded the significant contributions of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to Ghana’s political governance. During a birthday dinner for the revered monarch in London, the president described him as an “invaluable partner” in the country’s governance. Akufo-Addo expressed his gratitude for the assistance given to him by the Asantehene over the last six years and highlighted his contributions to securing peace, particularly in the Dagbon crisis, where he acted as a mediator. The president expressed hope that the Asantehene would extend a similar hand in resolving the ongoing Bawku crisis.
