A notorious armed robber known as ‘2PM’ has revealed how he was finally arrested by celebrated senior police officer, COP Kofi Boakye. Speaking on Kingdom Plus FM, 2PM explained that he had become heavily involved in robbery since the age of 14 when he was exposed to the crime in Nigeria. He had become so experienced in handling different types of weapons that he had established a notorious reputation for himself in Ghana.
On the day of his arrest, 2PM had already robbed six different establishments and was feeling invincible. He had even outsmarted security guards to steal money from a prepaid company while a football match was ongoing. However, unbeknownst to him, COP Kofi Boakye and his men had been dispatched to arrest him.
2PM was confident that he would be able to evade arrest as he usually received tip-offs from friends in the police force. However, Kofi Boakye had used a completely new team of policemen that evening to catch him off guard. Despite being high on cocaine and tramadol, 2PM was eventually arrested when he jumped into a car full of policemen, thinking it was a passenger car.
2PM acknowledged Kofi Boakye’s intelligence in not using the same team that had gone on the operation to arrest him. He also praised Kofi Boakye for his ability to put criminals on their toes in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
