The prophetic words Kufuor spoke to Bawumia

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has recounted his initial encounter with NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, highlighting his foresight regarding Bawumia’s political future. Kufuor recalled meeting Bawumia in 2002 when he was a research assistant to the Governor of the Bank of Ghana, impressed by his presentation at an international conference in London. He commended Bawumia’s brilliance and charisma, prophesying his future success if he continued his exemplary work. Kufuor supported Bawumia’s subsequent entry into the NPP in 2008 and his selection as the running mate for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
