Vice President Dr. Bawumia, alongside Sammi Awuku and other prominent figures of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), gathered at Akwaaba Village in Accra to rally behind Afua Asantewaa Aduonum’s historic quest. Aduonum aims to make history by breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest individual singing marathon.
With Ghana flags in hand, Dr. Bawumia and NPP leaders joined the enthusiastic crowd, showcasing their solidarity with Afua Asantewaa Aduonum in her ambitious endeavor. The broadcast journalist has set an impressive goal of surpassing the current record held by Indian singer Sunil Waghmare, who achieved a remarkable 102 hours of continuous singing from March 3 to March 7, 2012.
As Dr. Bawumia and his delegation arrived at the venue, Asantewaa had already been singing for a day, fourteen hours, and fifty-five minutes. The notable presence of high-profile figures not only heightens the excitement surrounding the event but also underlines the widespread support for Aduonum’s endeavor to secure her place in the esteemed Guinness World Records.
