Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, also known as Wode Maya, a popular YouTuber known for promoting the African continent through vlogging, recently announced that his YouTube channel, which was completely lost due to a hacking incident, has been restored. The vlogger has over 1.2 million subscribers on his channel.
The hackers had changed the name of the channel and deleted all of its videos. However, Wode Maya took to his Facebook page to announce that the channel was back up and running. Upon checking, it was confirmed that all of his previous videos were restored under the “videos” category, though the “Home” section is still empty. Nonetheless, his previous videos have retained all the previous views they had amassed.
This announcement has been met with joy by many, who have expressed their excitement about the news and commended Wode Maya’s work.
